Dance Equation have developed unique ways of inspiring young people to learn and think about STEM subjects in a physical and creative way. We have worked in collaboration with all kinds people and organisations that encourage young people to have an interest in STEM subjects, for example Ignite! The Mighty Creatives Nottingham University, the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) etc..
Encouraging more young people to be inspired by Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths is now on the government agenda; we are seeking to work in partnership with more businesses to help them fulfill their corporate, social responsibility by designing and active, creative projects that have an impact with young people, whilst contributing to government agenda.
A recent collaboration with the Biomolecular science team at Nottingham University and !Ignite culminated in the creation and delivery of a Dancing Science project 'Bacteria is curious' with Henry Whipple Primary School in Nottingham. The creative workshop program encouraged the children to learn about Biomolecular science through interactive, physical dance workshops.
